GIIP’s Post Graduate Diploma (PG Diploma) program prepares you for a career in the field of Patent Law. On completion of the program, you will be hired as a Patent Engineer, IP Analyst, IP Associate Attorney or IP Counsel at a leading Corporate, MNC, Law Firm or K/LPO.
The PG curriculum is tailored to meet industry requirements as well as the needs of aspiring professionals. The admission form would be evaluated by the GIIP’s Selection Committee comprising of Academic Director, in-house Faculty members and External IP Practitioners. On approval, the Candidate would be invited for a personal round of in-person interview to one of our centres or on an online platform. The personal interview would assess Candidate’s communication, analytical and technical skills. Based on internal grading of admission form and the personal interview, select Candidates would be invited to complete the registration formalities and join the program.

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) will offer the Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property and Innovation Management programme (“GCIPIM Programme”) Challenge Examination (“CEX”) to all PG Diploma Candidates. The CEX would allow Candidates to achieve credit recognition for Master of Intellectual Property and Innovation Management Programme (“MIPIM Programme”) offered by SUSS.
SUSS shall be responsible for the management and conduct of the GCIPIM Programme CEX, including, inter alia, providing the study materials, and setting and grading the GCIPIM Programme CEX. GIIP shall be responsible for first-line support for Candidates, particularly on non-academic matters and the logistics required for the CEX, including, without limitation, CEX-related administration, provision for and setting up of the CEX venue/classrooms, invigilation of on-campus CEX, and provision of on-campus internet access for the Candidates.
