Course FAQs

Yes. Our study materials are designed with the purpose of assisting you in passing the Patent Agent Examination, but it is our goal to teach you Indian patent act and process and patent drafting, so that once you pass the examination, you will be an effective patent agent.

This is a difficult question to answer as each student has differing time constraints and methods of study. The materials are very comprehensive, yet very straightforward. When you register, we send a handbook on how to prepare for the exam along with the printed materials for your exam preparation. It is highly recommended that you start your preparation for the exam 3-4 months in advance.
We have full-time staff focused on updating our study materials. We continually monitor patent office announcements and notify you of substantive changes and keep our materials up-to-date as you prepare for the exam, including continually adding new questions to our data bank of exam questions and updating the on-demand course.

Access to the course is available for 1 year from the date of purchase, but if you are actively using GIIP’s online material and find that you need more time after your 1-year subscription expires, GIIP will provide complimentary access and updates (if applicable) for up to eighteen months after your initial purchase.
